On April 8, 2009, the Catholic School Partnership of The Diocese of Camden held a Vision Retreat at the St. Joseph Pro-Cathedral School, one of the five partnership schools. Attendees included members of the Operating Board, experts in the field of education, Partnership school principals, pastors and support staff. There may be some Catholics angered by a perceived favoritism and funneling of suburban resources toward the Catholic schools in the city of Camden.
But ultimately, Galante and the diocese are doing exactly what they should and living up to the best religious tenets by doing all they can to help those who need help the most -- the poor.
